BERACE 2013
Massa Vecchia
Time has acted as a gentleman for this splendid wine resulting from the blend of Sangiovese (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) from the Tuscan Maremma countryside.
Long maceration in wooden barrels where then also the refinement follows for a few years; no filtration, clarification or addition of sulphites.
An energetic wine, but which thanks to time manages to open in a few minutes, releasing spectacular sensations; very elegant in aromas and no less on the palate, with hints of minerals, ripe red fruits, spices and smoked wood. The initial roundness then gives way to an unexpected vitality that enhances the drink sip after sip. MASTERPIECE!!!
