About him: the 2018 vintage was fantastic both in terms of yields and quality of the grapes and for this reason Yves decided to sign some of his most important labels as reserves, including the legendary Cote Pelée!Mondeuse from very old vines planted on slate and mica soils with very low yields, which undoubtedly contribute to this magnificent wine by giving schist minerality that shines together with flavors of black pepper and dates.
It's one of the deepest, most elegant and dare we say "remarkable" red wines we have ever tasted. Deep, brown in colour, with an open minerality and powerful structure, this is a phenomenal wine and one worth taking your time. Hymn to carbonic maceration!
