DAMIEN BUREAU - Loire

Damien Bureau, known as Bubu, was born in Anjou and works 3 hectares of vineyards in the area of the Côteaux de Layon denomination, in his native region which he particularly loves especially for the various opportunities that Chenin offers.
The estate is based on shale soil with a mild, humid climate. It features all the typical Loire vines, with a large majority of Chenin divided into four plots, but also a nice plot of Grolleau and Gamay and a smaller plot of Pineau d'Aunis, four vines that he loves and enjoys working with .
Both in the vineyard and in the cellar he does everything himself and this is why he wants to keep the company "on a human scale" to continue working alone. The cultivation of the vine takes place without pesticides or fertilizers while as regards winemaking, he produces wines without any added input or filtration. His goal is to produce fruitier, highly digestible red wines and fresh, delicious white wines; for this reason we recommend you try them because they are sincere and without too much exuberance, a bit just like him!
