About him: wine and label dedicated to Nico's father-in-law, who did so much for him during his life.
A Negroamaro different from the usual thanks to the working methodologies studied by Nico to obtain a unique wine of its kind, and obviously very very nice! The choice (harvesting the Negroamaro at the end of September, in a normal year) is to select some of the best bunches on the plant a little in advance, lightening it and more easily preserving the remaining ones in order to bring them to better maturation and choose in the harvests subsequent ones whether to add the riper ones to the same vat as the first ones and let them ferment together: the objective is to modulate the extraction based on the grape and the vintage despite longer fermentations. By doing so, the freshness of the vine is preserved, which is the true character of Negroamaro and the aromas remain more fragrant, the brightness is not lost and the tannins are more enjoyable if they are given time to refine. And let's enjoy it together!
