About him: Fabrizio Niccolaini and his wife, former winemakers with the Massa Vecchia company, run this very small farm surrounded by woods and also made up of 6 hectares of pastures and meadows. Here they raise a few Jersey cows and some Cinta Senese pigs, creating that ideal circular and self-sufficient agricultural model, with an associated small production of cheese. In the midst of all this, the vineyard and the love for wine could not be missing, so Fabrizio planted a plot of half a hectare of Pinot Noir on limestone soil. His is a challenge in search of maximum finesse; he creates limestone containers to keep the wine outdoors for maceration and uses 60-litre glass demijohns for agement. Despite very difficult management of the vineyard, every year a few hundred bottles see the light of day for a wine that is worth tasting for those who love Pinot Nero and are able to capture the contribution of the territory. Unmissable for fans of the genre!
