Mamma mia what a Carignan!
Wine with an infinite depth rooted deep into the subsoil as the roots of these vines planted way back in 1919 certainly will be!!!
Very long maceration on the skins and agement in old oak barriques from Burgundy.
Definitely an aging wine which now, with almost ten years behind it, expresses itself at its best. Dense and juicy, great sapidity that facilitates drinking with a sip based on herbs, roots, ink and spices, velvety tannins and a very long finish. Pleasant and enchanting drink!
