SANGIOVESE STUPEFACENTE 2018
Lucy Margaux
IT CAN DOEEEEEE!!! Yes, a Sangiovese from the other side of the world, but not a random place, but at the Von Klopper home!
Grapes from over 25-year-old vines located in the small town of Totness, southeast of Adelaide; carbonic maceration for about eight days and aging in old 500-liter wooden barrels.
The initial vitality soon leaves the field to a delicate complexity and structure that informs you that it's not a baby ;) Herbs, roots, spices and red flowers as if it were a spring morning. Romantic, with subtle tannins and an elegant finish...unimaginably good!
