Damien Guadagnolo is a new Jura winemaker whose star is seriously on the rise, and while this phrase gets thrown around a lot, it has never been truer than in this case. With seven years of experience working with a certain Jean-Francois Ganevat (who bought Damien's grapes in his early years of growing) Damien is going from strength to strength. He began his solo career in 2019, the year that will mark his first "real" vintage and now has two hectares of vines in Orbagna, composed of Trousseau, Poulsard and Chardonnay. A humble and intuitive winemaker, who doesn't use sulphur because, as he says, "I don't know how to do it..." and is producing some of the most exciting wines to come out of this fascinating region right now. Long live the Jura, and not just any Jura!
