DOMAINE DE CHASSORNEY - Bourgogne
Frederic Cossard

Another super crackling duo from Burgundy, Fred and Laure are the names of the Domaine de Chassorney, born way back in 1996.
Frédéric, the son of farmers, realized his dream of becoming a vigneron by starting with plots in Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses; the Domaine has grown little by little with vineyards in Pommard, Volnay and Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune, all rigorously worked in a biodynamic way and with horses between the rows. In the cellar only and exclusively spontaneous fermentations, cuvées without sulphur, refinements initially in old oak barrels to be now abandoned and replaced with egg-shaped concrete tanks and underground Georgian amphorae, so as to be able to taste Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in their purest and sincere expression. More real and natural Burgundy than ever!!!
