Giovanni Mesina, the free-range Sardinian shepherd who churns out free-range wines from the fantastic Umbrian hills above Perugia.
In Pianello he raises his many sheep in an uncontaminated environment where the meadow is the backdrop to centuries-old olive trees and two hectares and a little more of vineyards, one of which is planted with Vermentino and another with the typical red varieties of the region, cultivated in full respect of the green island in which they gravitate.
Led initially by the hand of the legendary Danilo Marcucci, the wines are produced with a strictly natural approach and in search of the magical expression of the fruit and the earth.
Giovanni's wines are special as are the labels (all made from grass), pure and genuine.
