Six hectares of vineyards spread across 25 different plots within the municipality of Rosheim. This is the Alsatian reality of Jean-Marc Dreyer who mostly offers white wines macerated on the skins, a practice not very common in this corner of France.
Limestone-clayey soils, capable of giving character and finesse to the wines. The cultivated varieties are the traditional ones of the area such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Muscat and Pinot Noir, following the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Manual harvests and work in the vineyard with the help of a horse, while in the cellar only spontaneous fermentations without alterations or additions to the wines which almost always age in old oak barrels, although the imprint of the wood is perfectly dosed in all its labels . This is how sincere bottles of character are born, capable of faithfully reflecting his spontaneous productive spirit. Another splendid view of Alsace!
