JULIEN MEYER
He is the master who conducted the orchestra in a marvelous way, thanks to his long experience as a winemaker and cellarman.
The various terroirs of the domaine extend around Nothalten in the Bas-Rhin, at the foot of the Vosges. Heinsenberg, Heisenstein, Muenchberg, Zellberg and Grittermatte are composed of various soils of gneiss, clay, shale and sand. The vines are at an altitude of about 250 m and are affected by France's less rainy climate, which results in slower ripening. Also for this reason Patrick chooses to vinify his parcels separately before any blending.
Always and only grapes of exceptional quality, no alteration of the juice with chemical compounds or filtrations, macerations and long refinements, make its wines real Alsatian gems!
