About him: Pirrera is the name of the vineyard planted as a sapling, located in the district of Sciaranuova and where all the grapes that make up this splendid wine come from. Its name takes up that of the quarry in its vicinity where the stones were extracted (Pirrera in Sicilian means quarry, mine) which has characterized the soil with ground stones.A masterpiece full of rich sensations, where the nose is expressed with hints of small red fruits, earthy notes, balsamic hints and spicy references, while on the palate it's full-bodied and juicy, with silky tannins and a very long persistence.
