In response to the painfully low yields his plants produced in 2021, Thierry decided to create a unique blend of old vines Pineau d'Aunis from Sarthe which usually went to La Centenaire du Vauperroux, and Gamay from Touraine which usually went produced on Les Maluseaux. The two were fermented separately in whole bunch for three weeks, before being crushed and blended into a pair of old barrels for eighteen months of élevage.
The Pineau d'Aunis strikes a thunderous blow in this blend, with the sip as a blade-sharp by Hattori Hanzo!
A wine with a very slender drink and splendid structure. Aromas and flavors of berries, flowers, earth and spices, for a complex, elegant and very original expression of the parts of the Loire. Unmissable!!!
