Yes, of course, a "vin de soif", but defining it in this way can only diminish its goodness and simple complexity.
Cuvée composed of old Gamay from the Fleurie region of Beaujolais and ancient Jura vines from the Ganevat estate, all vinified together in semi-carbonic and then left to relax in old wooden barrels for about an year.
Super alive from the first moment, by then dispersing the carbonic it acquires a very delicate and fine profile, with floral and mineral notes on the nose, which slowly amplify and allow raspberries, licorice and pepper to be clearly perceived. On the palate it's juicy and slender at the same time, all the sensations perceived in the aromas are found with the addition of herbs and roots, for a long, slightly bitter and very thirst-quenching finish.
