BAJOLA - Alice Iacono
About one hectare of rows distributed in terraces defined by green tuff walls known as "paraccine", where we find Viognier, Vermentino, Incontro Manzoni, Malvasia delle Lipari and Sauvignon Blanc, bearing witness to the past in which the island was a meeting point and trade between north and south. In the old vineyard, chemical and artificial intervention are prohibited, and a purely biodynamic approach is followed. In the cellar only spontaneous fermentations with very long macerations on the skins carried out inside palmenti, ancient vitrified concrete tanks, used in the past to collect rainwater. No filtration, clarification and addition of sulphites to maintain the integrity of the fruit and territoriality.
Unfortunately only 3,000 Ischian jewels per year...unmissable!!!
