A few words for one of the icons of natural wine who has managed to build a super reputation over time with exceptional wines!
Deep in the Ardèche mountains of the Northern Rhône, Daniel attended natural wine fairs for years while making garage wines for his and his friends' consumption. Every time he had the vignerons' friends taste the wines and treasured their impressions. An effort that has paid off, as he has now become a cult name in the world of natural wine and beyond.
He grows, obviously in a strictly natural way, small quantities of Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier, some of which come from rather old vineyards, and buys part of the grapes from nearby natural vignerons.
His interpretations of these famous vines are extremely expressive, wild, spontaneous, juicy and of great character.
