LES DOLOMIES
Wines with a perfect expression of the terroir! They could be quickly described like this, but there is much more to say for this small winery run by Céline and Steve Gormally, in the small town of Passenans, very close to the more famous Poligny and Arbois in the Jura.
Vines aged between 60 and 90 years grown on a soil full of magnesium limestone rocks that also suggested the name "les dolomies".
No chemicals either in the vineyard or in the cellar except for a small dose of sulphites during the bottling phase if the vinification has not fully convinced.
A domaine that we are sure will soon become part of that circle of super sought-after Jura producers, even if we believe it already is, thanks to whites with exceptional minerality and verticality and super expressive reds.
