MICHEL GUIGNIER - Beaujolais
This would be enough as a presentation also because we are in the presence of one of the most historic and representative producers of Beaujolais.
Four splendid hectares at the foot of the Massif Central, bordered to the south-west by the municipalities of Fleurie and Chiroubles, a corner of paradise where the vineyards grown on the slopes facing south-east receive the rising sun, while the others are lulled by the sun at sunset and this helps to produce wines with a unique and fantastic taste.
Biodynamics in the vineyard and no artifacts in the cellar, not even a small addition of sulphites. In some ways we know this territory for young and super vital wines, spectacular to drink immediately, well, Michel's wines reflect both characteristics even if they lend themselves even more to long age in the bottle which then reward the most patient by finding a complexity in the glass and drinkability impossible to obtain right away.
